My Instagram life

Weakness isn’t something we welcome or want to have, but when it stays, as it does with M.E and chronic illness, we learn to depend on God’s gift of unlimited strength rather than our own depleted resources.

The writing life can be full of stops and starts. My progress with books or blogs is usually incredibly slow and my health challenges mean I have to take long breaks.

Having family visit to help clear out long-accumulated, unwanted clutter from your shed is a gift. But when they also come bearing a trug full of home-grown produce from their garden, then it’s a gift that keeps on giving... Thank you, Joe and Birgit! 😉❤️

On this surprisingly cold, cloudy and rainy day in the UK I remind myself of how nature’s melody soothes our souls with its sights and sounds acting like music to our ears... Nature’s melody

Some of my soul longings during this season... Longings

Joy can be hard to find or hang onto, can't it? Due to decades of being housebound by chronic illness, and suffering seasonal episodes of depression, I try to discover any window, any opening to joy I can find. Nature provides that for me. I relax and breathe seeing flowers, plants and greenery.
